院训：至诚 破章

艺术与设计学院创建于1959年，前身为原上海轻工业高等专科学校美术系，是上海乃至国内最早的艺术设计院校之一，被誉为中国设计界的“黄埔军校”。

学院现有艺术学门类下的两个一级学科：设计学、美术学，坚持以学科建设为龙头，聚焦社会经济发展需求，构建合理的学科专业体系，确立了“理论坚实、素养深厚、创作有章、应用得法”的办学定位。2016年开始招收硕士研究生，目前在校学生近千名。60余年的历史沉淀，学院为中国设计产业输送了大量专业人才，涌现出多位杰出的设计师和设计教育家，成为国内艺术设计人才培养的重要基地。

Founded in 1959, the School of Art and Design traces its roots to the Department of Fine Arts at the former Shanghai Higher College of Light Industry. As one of the pioneering art and design institutions in Shanghai—and indeed across China—it is widely celebrated as the "Whampoa Military Academy" of the nation's design world.

Today, the School offers two primary disciplines under the Arts umbrella: Design and Fine Arts. Guided by a commitment to robust academic development, it aligns its curriculum with the evolving needs of society and the economy, fostering a well-balanced system of majors. Its educational mission is defined by four pillars: solid theoretical foundations, deep cultural literacy, structured creative practice, and practical application. Since launching its master's programs in 2016, the School has grown to host nearly 1,000 students. Over its 60-year history, it has become a vital engine for China's design industry, graduating countless professionals and nurturing a generation of distinguished designers and educators. It stands today as a premier hub for cultivating the next wave of art and design talent in the country.

1. 视觉传达设计系 Department of Visual Communication Design

视之所及，心之所想，皆可传达。

视觉传达设计系立足前沿大视觉发展理念，围绕全链路创作、跨媒介融合与智能素养培育开展人才培养，拓展设计表达边界，贯通创意构思、实践落地与综合传播全流程。以多元视觉语言建立具有人文内涵、时代价值、未来眼光的表述世界，构建适配时代的全新育人体系。

The Department of Visual Communication Design is grounded in a forward-looking and expanded vision of visual communication. Centered on end-to-end creative practice, cross-media integration, and the cultivation of AI literacy, the program expands the boundaries of design expression while connecting the entire process from conceptual development and creative realization to integrated communication. Through diverse visual languages, it builds an expressive world imbued with humanistic depth, contemporary relevance, and a forward-looking outlook, developing an innovative educational framework responsive to the needs of our time.

2. 特殊教育部Special Education Division

于无声处，润化长展。

我校作为上海首个将听障生特殊教育融入普通高等教育的高校，圆了无数听障学子的大学梦与成才梦、艺术梦。我们秉持全纳教育理念，开创性构建以“残健融合、普特互渗”为特色的人才培养模式与教学方法体系，至今已累计培养400余名优秀毕业生。

As the first university in Shanghai to integrate deaf and hard-of-hearing students into mainstream higher education, Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT) has empowered generations of students to realize their aspirations for higher learning, personal growth, and artistic development. Guided by the principles of inclusive education, it has pioneered a distinctive talent-development model and pedagogical framework characterized by the integration of students with and without disabilities and the mutual enrichment of general and special education. To date, more than 400 outstanding graduates have emerged from this unique educational community.

3. 环境设计系 Department of Environmental Design

境由心生，心游造境。

环境艺术设计专业以探讨“人—空间—环境”的复杂关系为核心理念，融合建筑学、环境设计、社会学与生态学等多学科知识，致力于培养具备设计各种实体空间、虚拟空间的综合性设计人才。

The Environmental Design Program centers on the exploration of the complex relationship among people, space, and the environment. Integrating multidisciplinary knowledge across architecture, environmental design, sociology, ecology, and related disciplines, it is committed to cultivating versatile design professionals capable of shaping both physical and virtual spaces.

专业涵盖景观设计、室内设计、公共文化空间设计、城市更新设计、乡村振兴设计与影视动漫舞台空间设计等多维度领域，强调大环境设计概念的系统化思维。

The Program encompasses a wide range of fields, including landscape design, interior design, public cultural space design, urban regeneration design, rural revitalization design, and stage and spatial design for film, animation, and performance, emphasizing systematic thinking grounded in the concept of holistic environmental design.

教学坚持理论与实践并重，将中华民族传统美学与数字化设计技术相结合，通过材料实验、实体建造与虚拟场景营造，培养学生的空间创新能力、环境文化结合能力与工程实践能力。

专业注重人文思想表达、生态责任与技术实现协同，服务时代发展与文化创意产业需求，培养具有时代视野、审美素养与社会责任感的复合型环境设计人才。

4. 产品设计系 Department of Product Design

意器用事，品，万物生。

设计系的前身为上海轻工业高等专科学校“工业设计专业”，为我国上世纪80年代初首批工业设计试点专业，1994年获批全国唯一工业设计教育改革试点专业。

The Department of Product Design traces its origins to the Industrial Design Program of Shanghai Light Industry College, one of China’s earliest pilot programs in industrial design established in the early 1980s. In 1994, it was designated as the nation’s sole pilot program for industrial design education reform.

聚焦艺术与科技融合，以“设计+科技+产业”一体化为特色，围绕工业产品、智能产品、文创设计、可持续设计等方向，培养具有创新意识、实践能力和广阔视野的高素质应用型人才。

Focusing on the integration of art and technology and featuring an integrated “Design + Technology + Industry” model, the program centers on industrial product design, intelligent product design, cultural and creative design, and sustainable design, aiming to cultivate high-quality application-oriented professionals with innovative thinking, practical capabilities, and a global perspective.

课程涵盖设计思维、人机工程学、产品设计、材料工艺、用户研究、系统创新等内容，注重理论与实践结合，提升学生调研分析、方案设计、模型制作与成果转化能力。

专业强调审美素养、工程意识与商业思维协同发展，推动传统文化创新转化与时代理念融合。依托校企合作、项目教学和产教融合平台，学生可参与企业课题、竞赛及实践。毕业生广泛就业于新能源、互联网、智能制造、消费电子、文化创意等行业。

5. 绘画系 Department of Painting

绘事后素，中修心源。

绘画系始终以扎实的绘画基础训练与纯粹的艺术创作探索为教学根基，坚守“至诚”之本心，勇行“破章”之创变。我们注重引导学生与历史对话，从中汲取深厚底蕴；与心灵对话，不断激发内在感悟；与世界对话，努力拓宽文化视野；与自然对话，回归本真之美；与生活对话，用画笔表达对生活正义、善良、奋进、责任、俭朴、平等、理想、淡泊等诸多美德的强烈期盼。

The Department of Painting has always grounded its teaching in rigorous training in the fundamentals of painting and a steadfast commitment to artistic exploration, upholding the values of Zhicheng (Utmost Sincerity) and embracing the innovative spirit of Pozhang (Breaking Conventions). We encourage students to engage in dialogue with history, drawing upon its rich cultural heritage; with the self, fostering deeper reflection; with the world, broadening their cultural horizons; with nature, rediscovering the beauty of authenticity; and with life, expressing through their art a profound aspiration for virtues such as justice, kindness, perseverance, responsibility, simplicity, equality, ideals, and serene detachment.

在这一过程中，学生得以深刻理解人性之丰富、感悟人文之温暖。这既是我们对“理论坚实、素养深厚、创作有章、应用得法”办学定位的践行，也是一代代传承至今的历史传统与育人特色。

6. 实验中心Experimental Center

心手相随，天工开物。

艺术与设计学院实验中心秉持心手相随、天工开物的主旨，推动艺术创意与手工实操深度融合，让设计构想精准落地，做到心手合一、知行相融。

The Experimental Center of the School of Art and Design, guided by the principles of Xinshou Xiangsui (mind and hand in harmony) and Tiangong Kaiwu (creative craftsmanship inspired by nature), promotes the in-depth integration of artistic creativity and hands-on practice, enabling design concepts to be brought to life with precision while fostering the unity of mind and hand and the integration of knowledge and action.

实验中心现有丝网印刷、影视摄影、3D打印、模型制作、智能交互、漆艺艺术、陶瓷艺术、系列工艺美术等特色实训板块，共计专业实验室20余间。

The Center currently houses more than 20 specialized laboratories and training studios, supporting practical training in distinctive areas such as screen printing, film and photography, 3D printing, model making, intelligent interaction, lacquer art, ceramic art, and a range of arts and crafts disciplines.

实验中心坚持产教融合、开放共享、创客创新、科艺互通理念，营造互助钻研、自由创作、跨界探索的良好育人氛围。中心严格落实预约申请与安全管理制度，规范实训运行秩序，搭建集课程教学、学科竞赛、创作研究于一体的综合实践平台，全方位支撑培养高素质应用型创新艺术设计人才。
